RecycleNet to Recycle Websites
Online Recycling Marketplace Launches Oldwebsites.com to Purchase Waste & Recycling Websites

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, February 17, 2004 — RecycleNet Corporation (OTC-BB: GARM) today announced the official launch of OldWebSites.com (www.oldwebsites.com), a new service allowing owners of recycling and waste websites to easily list and sell their sites directly to RecycleNet.

RecycleNet (www.recycle.net), which operates the leading online trading platform for recyclable industrial materials, said it is actively seeking mergers, acquisitions, strategic alliances, joint ventures and other relationships. As part of this strategy, RecycleNet is interested in using Oldwebsites.com to find and purchase recycle and waste-related domain names, especially those with existing web presences.

The Company aims to expand its network of online portals and help unify the market for buying and selling of recyclable materials on the web. RecycleNet has already purchased several websites using the strategy implemented by Oldwebsites.com, including www.recyclexchange.com, GRN.com and www.palletbuyersguide.com.

"We are essentially recycling websites by purchasing existing sites and integrating them into the RecycleNet portal,” said Paul Roszel, Chairman and CEO of RecycleNet Corporation. “The online market for recyclable materials is growing at a substantial rate due to increasing global demand. Currently this market is fractured across many different websites and trading platforms."

“As regulations, economic need and consumer consciousness expand the global market for recyclable materials, our goal is to unify this market under the RecycleNet banner and create a more efficient and transparent market for buyers and sellers."

RecycleNet operates a leading online trading platform for recyclable industrial materials such as glass, metal, rubber, paper, wood and plastic, along with used vehicles and equipment. Generators, brokers, dealers, processors and consumers use RecycleNet’s trading websites to buy, sell and trade recyclable materials and used items. The Company recently reported 66.5 million page views over the course of 2003, a 43% increase over the number of page views in 2002, and 1.8 million unique website visitors per month from over 150 countries worldwide.
